Clinical Research Physician – Oncology

About the role

Lilly is seeking a Clinical Research Physician specialized in Oncology to join its global development team. This remote position supports the design, execution, and oversight of late‑phase clinical studies and the transition of oncology medicines from development to market.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run global oncology clinical trials, from protocol development to data dissemination.
• Prepare and review study reports, publications, and labeling updates.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and external thought leaders to advance product development.
• Support pricing, reimbursement, and market access documentation.
• Ensure adverse event reporting complies with FDA, ICH, CPMP and Good Clinical Practice standards.
• Advise study teams and contribute to business unit and global product strategy.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification or equivalent clinical experience in oncology.
• Extensive experience in late‑phase clinical research and drug development.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, ICH, CPMP) and GCP.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, cross‑functional environment.
