Cloud Platform Operations Engineer – AWS

About the role

The Cloud Platform Operations Engineer – AWS will operate and maintain Philips’ Imaging & Informatics cloud platform on AWS, ensuring high reliability and uptime. The role works closely with the Cloud Operations Readiness Lead, product engineering, and service teams to keep production environments stable and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure day‑to‑day operation, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and platform services with high reliability.
• Provision, configure, scale, patch and upgrade AWS resources using Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Monitor environments, troubleshoot production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and resolve critical issues.
• Collaborate with product engineering and service teams to meet operational readiness and improve platform scalability.
• Contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines and continuous improvement of operational processes.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in cloud or platform operations.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS production environments and incident management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on‑site at least three days per week in a hybrid setting.
