Club Director – Luxury Hospitality General Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and charismatic leader to direct the relaunch and daily operations of a prestigious luxury venue in Milan. The role demands a hands‑on presence, especially during peak evening service, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional, personalized experience for an international, high‑profile clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership across all club operations, ensuring an outstanding member experience.
• Own the club’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and revenue optimisation.
• Develop and implement commercial and membership strategies to strengthen brand positioning and drive profitability.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across all departments, maintaining service excellence and operational efficiency.
• Recruit, mentor and inspire department heads and operational teams, fostering a collaborative, service‑focused culture.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members, owners, partners and key stakeholders locally and internationally.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, legal regulations and luxury hospitality best practices.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in luxury private members clubs, high‑end hospitality or lifestyle venues.
• Track record of successful openings, refurbishments or repositioning projects is a strong advantage.
• Strong commercial awareness with demonstrated financial success.
• Outstanding leadership, interpersonal and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• International hospitality or lifestyle experience is highly valued.
• Fluency in English is essential; Italian language skills are highly desirable.
