CMF Experience Designer

About the role

We are looking for a talented CMF Experience Designer to join our Milan Experience Design Centre. You will create and develop innovative colour, material and finish (CMF) strategies that enhance both product and spatial experiences while reinforcing Haier’s brand identity.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, curate and manage the Material Library as a central resource for the design team.
• Define short‑ and long‑term CMF strategies that strengthen brand identity across space and product experiences.
• Research and analyse CMF trends across interior design, automotive and consumer electronics on a local and global basis.
• Produce visualisations, presentations and storytelling assets to communicate CMF directions.
• Partner with suppliers and the HQD team to explore, test and validate innovative materials, coatings and finishes.
• Translate CMF strategies with the Qingdao CMF team into manufacturable global and local solutions.
• Develop mood boards, palettes and narratives that guide product development.
• Specify CMF details, create design guidelines, specifications and prototypes for internal teams and suppliers.

Required profile

• Passionate, proactive and self‑driven with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent collaboration skills across architecture, interior, industrial, spatial and interaction design teams.
• Ability to keep users at the centre of design decisions and act as a change agent.
