Commercial & Business Development Manager – Maritime

About the role

Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore seeks an experienced maritime commercial professional to lead growth across Italy and Monaco, working with shipowners, shipyards, designers and operators.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercial growth for newbuilding and existing fleets in Italy and Monaco.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with shipowners, shipyards, designers, investors and operators.
• Identify and pursue strategic opportunities in shipping, offshore and emerging energy sectors.
• Lead commercial discussions for major projects, tenders and complex opportunities.
• Collaborate with local, regional and global teams to expand market share.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in the maritime industry.
• Proven success in commercial, business development or key account management.
• Strong network across the Italian maritime ecosystem.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Engineering or related field.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
