Commercial Training Manager

About the role

ABB is seeking a Commercial Training Manager to lead the learning strategy for Marketing & Sales across all Electrification divisions. The role is global, hybrid and reports to the Electrification Talent and Learning Leader, contributing to the development of best‑in‑class commercial learning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver commercial learning programs aligned with Marketing & Sales needs and future capabilities.
• Conduct learning needs analyses, design learning paths, and create content with internal and external experts.
• Define learning objectives, performance outcomes and KPIs, using analytics and NPS feedback for continuous improvement.
• Apply digital learning methodologies, manage learning platforms and integrate AI to modernise the learning experience.
• Lead learning campaigns, promotion and social‑media outreach to maximise engagement.
• Oversee budget planning, monitor investments and optimise learning data records.
• Collaborate with SMEs, select external partners and ensure high‑quality solution delivery.
• Organise, staff and develop the learning team in line with HR policies.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in learning and development for commercial organisations.
• Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage budgets and drive data‑based improvements.
• Experience guiding and developing multidisciplinary teams.
