Commis de Rang – Guest Service Assistant

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is seeking enthusiastic Commis de Rang to join its Food & Beverage service team for the 2026 summer season. In this position you will help create seamless, high‑quality dining experiences for guests, supporting the team in all aspects of table service and guest interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware and silverware in a discreet, efficient manner.
• Polish silverware, refill condiments and maintain crumb tables.
• Stock service items and assist with simple food and beverage preparations such as toast, soup or drinks.
• Break down, clean and arrange buffets and food stations.
• Deliver dishes from the kitchen to guests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Greet guests, provide water, bread and butter service, and anticipate guest needs.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any concerns.

Required profile

• Minimum experience in food service or hospitality.
• Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing personality and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
• Flexible, team‑oriented approach.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking in Italian; English proficiency is a plus.
