Commissioning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Commissioning Engineer to join our Industrial Operations team. The role focuses on testing, commissioning and performance validation of advanced energy‑storage systems, working closely with engineering, R&D and service groups in an international, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site testing of NHOA products and complete commissioning documentation.
• Lead plant commissioning from installation completion through final acceptance.
• Develop and improve commissioning procedures for NHOA plants and products.
• Collaborate with Engineering and R&D on test‑bench development and control‑software validation.
• Support HMI and SCADA application development and testing.
• Provide second‑level technical support to the Service team for operating plants.
• Perform risk assessments, report hazards and ensure compliance with HSE and permit‑to‑work requirements.

Required profile

• Technical high‑school diploma (electrical, mechanical, electronic or related).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commissioning, testing or start‑up within industrial or energy settings.
• Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• PLC development using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.
• HMI/SCADA development with WinCC and TIA Portal.
• Knowledge of power conversion systems.
• Ability to read and verify electrical drawings.
• Proficiency with measurement instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and power analyzers.
