Commissioning Engineer

About the role

Anaergia is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead the start‑up and performance testing of waste‑to‑energy plants in Treviglio. You will coordinate all commissioning activities from dry commissioning through acceptance testing, ensuring safety, budget, and schedule targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all commissioning activities from plant start‑up to acceptance testing.
• Read, analyse and comply with contract obligations.
• Develop, agree on, and monitor project schedule and budget.
• Monitor functionality of all plant components during commissioning.
• Coordinate resources, update detailed schedules and lead regular site meetings.
• Identify project risks early and implement mitigation plans.
• Maintain communication with the customer’s project leader and operators.
• Ensure the Operations & Maintenance manual is prepared and delivered on time.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage and coordinate commissioning activities.
• Strong focus on safety standards and compliance.
• Experience in budget and schedule management.
• Capability to conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation plans.
• Effective communication with customers and internal teams.
