Communication & Marketing Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a driven Communication & Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Barolo. You will support the communication strategy of G.D. Vajra, a family‑owned winery renowned for quality and authenticity, translating our values and wines into compelling stories for industry professionals and wine lovers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the communication strategy across external, internal and social media channels in coordination with the Commercial Director.
• Create, update and distribute marketing and sales collateral such as fact sheets, presentations, tasting notes and digital assets.
• Prepare presentations, reports and commercial tools for the sales team.
• Coordinate samples, trade materials and product submissions for key markets.
• Host trade visitors, lead professional tastings and manage hospitality events at the winery.
• Plan and execute trade fairs and events in Italy and abroad, supporting the sales team with up to 60 days of travel per year.
• Oversee OCM‑related hospitality logistics, documentation and budget tracking in collaboration with finance.

Required profile

• Degree in Literature, Philosophy, Art, Wine Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Hospitality or related field (preferred).
• 2‑4 years of experience in marketing, hospitality, events, wine or luxury goods.
• Previous exposure to the wine industry is strongly preferred.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.
