Consolidated Financial Statement Specialist

About the role

Barilla is seeking a Consolidated Financial Statement Specialist to join its Consolidated Financial Statement unit in Parma. Reporting to the Consolidated Financial Statement Senior Manager, the specialist will support the preparation and consolidation of group financial statements in line with IAS/IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Manager in preparing the reporting package using the IFRS Consolidate Suite.
• Ensure accurate intercompany reconciliation and overall financial consolidation.
• Maintain and improve the consolidation system, coordinating with internal teams and the software provider.
• Manage the IFRS 16 leasing process for actual, budget and forecast data across the Group.
• Support IAS 19 pension fund actuarial activities, including data collection and liaison with external providers and auditors.
• Participate in year‑end closing and cooperate with external auditors on consolidation matters.
• Apply and monitor consolidation policies, procedures and related controls.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of IAS/IFRS accounting principles.
• Experience with group financial consolidation and reporting.
• Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with local accounting teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IFRS Consolidate Suite.
• Understanding of IFRS 16 leasing accounting.
• Familiarity with IAS 19 pension accounting.
