About the role

The Construction Supervision Senior Engineer will lead civil engineering construction projects for RINA Consulting, ensuring they meet design specifications, quality standards, environmental policies, and safety regulations. This senior position coordinates diverse teams, subcontractors, and resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering construction projects from concept through final completion, guaranteeing compliance with design criteria, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Review technical documents, prepare official deliverables, and resolve discrepancies with contractors promptly.
• Establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures, continuously monitoring construction processes and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules, monitor progress, and mitigate potential delays or bottlenecks.
• Coordinate mobilization of workforce, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment, ensuring effective communication among all participants.
• Monitor project expenses, advise on cost‑control initiatives, and support budget management.
• Collaborate with the Construction Safety Senior Engineer to uphold safety programs and conduct regular site inspections.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in managing contractor claims, evaluating scope changes, and adjusting schedules or designs as needed.
