Contract & Commercial Manager

About the role

The Contract & Commercial Manager will oversee all commercial, financial, tax, insurance and contractual aspects of projects from sales through execution. You will work closely with sales, project managers and cross‑functional teams to ensure contracts are sound, risks are managed and financial performance is optimized.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bonds, guarantees and insurance concepts during sales and execution phases.
• Coordinate consortium agreements and verify digital SCAP data submitted by sales.
• Support contract drafting, comment preparation and negotiation with customers.
• Provide tax concepts to the tax department and contribute to sales risk analysis.
• Assist project managers with legal and insurance kick‑off meetings, identifying contractual risks and deadlines.
• Handle foreign‑exchange management, project cost controlling, invoicing and accounts receivable processes.
• Manage insurance claims, shipping documentation and permanent‑establishment administration.
• Lead cash management, banking, accounting and contract management processes at the site level.
• Collaborate on sourcing, financing requirements and sub‑contract negotiations.
• Interface with legal department and provide inputs to logistics concepts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, Economics or Management Engineering.
• Fluency in English; additional Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
• Proven ability to work with global teams in a dynamic, international environment.
• Strong analytical mindset for risk and financial analysis.
