Corporate Controller

About the role

The Corporate Controller will lead the controlling function at our Milan headquarters, reporting to the Finance Director. This senior finance leadership position is responsible for accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and providing insightful analysis to support commercial and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly financial reporting cycle, focusing on P&L performance, net sales, margins and profitability indicators.
• Coordinate the annual budget and in‑year forecast processes, collaborating with retail, e‑commerce, wholesale and operations teams.
• Act as finance business partner to evaluate channel and regional profitability, discount trends, markdown policies and pricing strategies.
• Provide variance analysis versus budget, forecasts and prior year, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Lead industrial controlling and G&A monitoring, ensuring proper cost control, inventory valuation and reconciliation of structural costs.
• Support strategic projects such as store openings/closures, impairment testing and break‑even analysis.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to aid strategic and commercial decision‑making.
• Manage and develop two direct reports, fostering their professional growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a finance leadership role overseeing controlling functions.
• Strong track record in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Ability to work closely with commercial and operational teams to assess profitability and pricing impacts.
• Experience with industrial cost control, inventory valuation and G&A expense monitoring.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate insights to senior management.
