Corporate Controller

About the role

The Corporate Controller will lead the controlling function for a fast‑growing fashion brand, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, coordinating budget and forecasting cycles, and delivering value‑added analysis to senior management. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role works closely with retail, outlet, e‑commerce, wholesale and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly financial reporting cycle, focusing on P&L performance, net sales, margins and key profitability indicators.
• Provide clear variance analysis versus budget, forecasts and prior year, and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Coordinate the annual budget and in‑year forecast processes, collaborating with commercial, retail and operations functions.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic and commercial decision‑making.
• Act as finance business partner to evaluate profitability by channel and region, monitor discount trends, markdown policies and margin evolution.
• Support strategic evaluations such as store openings/closures, impairment testing and break‑even analysis.
• Oversee industrial controlling and G&A monitoring, ensuring effective control of production costs, COGS, inventory valuation and operating expenses.

Required profile

• Proven experience in controlling or finance leadership within a multi‑channel retail environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn financial data into actionable business insights.
• Experience managing budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting cycles.
• Ability to partner with commercial and operational teams on profitability, pricing and strategic projects.
• Leadership skills to develop and mentor direct reports.
