Corporate Finance Process Controller

About the role

Mapei is seeking a Corporate Finance Process Controller to join its Finance & Controlling team. The role focuses on designing, monitoring, and continuously improving financial processes across the Group to ensure standardisation, compliance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Map and document finance processes across the organisation.
• Ensure process compliance across countries and business units.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Maintain data accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Monitor adherence to corporate finance policies.
• Collaborate with IT on system enhancements, testing and ERP alignment.
• Perform process checks and variance investigations.
• Provide guidance and training to local finance teams on standards and updates.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, controlling or financial process analysis.
• Strong understanding of closing, reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally in an international environment.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector is a strong plus.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Mandatory availability to travel internationally.
