Corporate Sales Executive – Insurance (Milan)

About the role

Marsh is recruiting a corporate sales professional for its Milan office, working with private middle-market clients. The role contributes to growth in the commercial area through new business development and analysis of local markets, and is offered on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Support prospecting and commercial development with a consultative, specialist approach, liaising with all company functions
• Identify new prospects through territory analysis and targeted market research, and manage sales negotiations independently (research, cold calling, meeting organisation, commercial proposals, KPI monitoring and CRM updates)
• Help clients understand changing insurance market conditions and risk management needs
• Analyse clients' risk exposure and support senior colleagues in advising on insurance strategy and managing client portfolios
• Achieve sales targets and manage the CRM
• Stay up to date on industry trends, attend company events and conferences and maintain a strong professional network

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Law, Political or Social Sciences or similar fields
• Proven experience in the insurance sector, preferably in client-facing commercial or sales roles
• Good English (B2) and Italian
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented and results-focused

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and common IT tools
• Sales negotiation and CRM management

What we offer

• Gross annual salary starting from EUR 38,000 for a full-time position, higher depending on experience and qualifications
