Cost Controller – Finance (Hybrid)

About the role

YOOX, the leading multi‑brand digital platform for luxury fashion, is looking for a Cost Controller to support its cost control strategy and financial planning. The role is based in the Bologna area and works in a hybrid model, reporting to the Head of Cost Controlling.

Key responsibilities

• Support the company’s cost control strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Manage and support the annual budgeting process and multi‑year financial planning for operating and manufacturing costs.
• Oversee the monthly financial close, including preparation of SOX documentation.
• Lead monthly cost analysis activities and maintain strong relationships with key business partners.
• Identify, assess, and recommend value‑added opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
• Provide in‑depth variance analysis versus budget and prior year.
• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analyses and develop business cases across multiple areas.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in cost controlling, budgeting, or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with business partners and senior management.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and financial reporting standards.
