Country Manager - Business Account

About the role

As the Country Manager for Business Accounts, you will own the full strategic and operational P&L responsibility for the Business Account vertical in Italy. You will drive growth, shape the product roadmap, and ensure regulatory compliance while leading a commercial network in a fast‑paced fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive strategy and P&L: define and execute growth plans for the Business Account segment, meeting financial and business milestones.
• Lead sales operations: build, manage, motivate and scale the commercial network.
• Collaborate in a matrix structure: work closely with Product, Growth and other teams to shape product roadmap and go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance: oversee the regulatory framework, guaranteeing that all activities and new launches meet current financial regulations.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of leadership experience with direct P&L responsibility, preferably in scale‑ups or B2B tech (Fintech, SaaS, transactional platforms).
• Proven track record launching or scaling B2B financial products or complex corporate services.
• Expertise in building and structuring sales teams and customer service operations, with strong analytical focus on CRM systems and workflow optimisation.
• Matrix mindset: ability to influence cross‑functional teams (Product, Tech, Growth) with or without direct reporting lines.
• Knowledge of financial and payment industry regulatory frameworks.
