Country Manager – Italy (based in Copenhagen)

About the role

We are seeking a Country Manager for the Italian market, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The role is with a leading global FMCG company and offers full ownership of the Italy P&L, driving growth through a distributor‑led model for both branded and private‑label products.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Italy profit & loss and define the commercial strategy.
• Develop and manage distributor partnerships to unlock growth.
• Lead business planning, pricing, and negotiation activities.
• Accelerate performance of established consumer brands.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with European headquarters teams.
• Travel regularly to Italy and other relevant locations.

Required profile

• Proven FMCG commercial experience, preferably from companies such as Nestlé, Danone, Unilever, Ferrero or similar.
• Strong knowledge of the Italian market and distributor channels.
• Demonstrated success in sales, key account management or distributor‑focused roles.
• Experience owning or influencing P&L.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Willingness to relocate to Copenhagen.
