Country Manager - Italy

About the role

The Country Manager will lead Aspen's commercial operations across Italy, based in Verona. This senior position is responsible for driving sales, profitability and market share while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the Italian pharmaceutical market, including regulatory, pricing, reimbursement and channel dynamics, and develop strategies to meet financial and share targets.
• Build and maintain compliant relationships with public officials, key external experts and distributors.
• Prepare and present the country P&L budget for approval, balancing Aspen’s objectives with market realities.
• Implement commercial plans through a distributor network to achieve budgeted targets.
• Lead and manage sales teams against agreed KPIs.
• Coordinate commercial activities with supply‑chain and regulatory functions.
• Identify new product and channel opportunities.
• Establish commercial platforms that support Aspen’s long‑term growth, including potential new entities.
• Maintain authorised relations with public administration as per powers of attorney.

Required profile

• Diploma in Science, Commerce or Marketing.
• 10‑15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• 10‑15+ years in sales management.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
