Country Manager Italy

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Country Manager to lead our Italian operations. Reporting to the global headquarters, you will own the P&L, drive growth, and steer the digital and AI‑enabled transformation of our publishing business in Italy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the three‑year business plan and annual budget in line with group objectives.
• Lead the Italian organization toward sustainable market leadership, operational excellence and profitability.
• Expand brand awareness and develop B2C, B2B, B2B2C, B2G and purpose‑driven business opportunities.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with institutions, corporations and other stakeholders.
• Oversee all operational activities of the Italian legal entities, ensuring compliance with corporate governance, fiscal and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the company at board meetings, presenting strategic plans, progress and results.
• Drive revenue growth across all business lines while improving operational efficiency and customer lifetime value.
• Lead the digital and AI transformation, fostering a customer‑centric, performance‑driven culture.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility, preferably in media, publishing or related content sectors.
• Strong track record of delivering growth and profitability in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Excellent strategic thinking, commercial acumen and ability to influence at board level.
• Deep understanding of the Italian market, regulatory landscape and business culture.
• Fluent in English and Italian, with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
