Credit Collector – French Speaker

About the role

Safilo is seeking a French‑speaking Credit Collector to join its Credit Area at the headquarters in Padua. The role focuses on recovering outstanding payments by contacting debtors, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Track and monitor outstanding debts.
• Locate, contact, and negotiate with debtors to arrange payment schedules.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to collections.
• Update account statuses and balances on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with French‑based colleagues to ensure legal compliance.

Required profile

• Native French speaker with fluent English (additional languages a plus).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in credit or debt collection.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
