Curricular Internship in Controlling – Financial Performance

About the role

This curricular internship in the Controlling area offers a hands‑on experience in financial performance analysis within an international environment. You will join the Finance team at Bosch Rexroth Oil Control S.p.A. and work on real projects that support reporting, forecasting and strategic analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly reports and forecasts of key economic and production indicators.
• Collaborate in variance analysis (actual costs vs. standard costs) and identify improvement areas.
• Learn and use advanced reporting tools such as Excel, SAP and Power BI.
• Participate in product costing and update profit‑and‑loss statements.
• Contribute to monitoring industrial KPIs, including production efficiency and indirect costs.
• Work closely with production, logistics and quality departments to understand data sources and support analyses.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• Strong interest in management control, financial analysis and business performance.
• Good analytical skills and a solid aptitude for working with numbers and data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and cost‑accounting principles.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Curiosity, proactivity and a continuous‑learning mindset.
