Customer Development Manager – Sales (Italy)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Customer Development Manager to join our sales team in Italy. In this role you will be responsible for driving profitable net sales value (NSV) growth with assigned customers, building strong relationships, and delivering mutually beneficial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve profitable sales growth with allocated customers.
• Develop and execute customer business plans that meet both company and customer objectives.
• Manage operational commercial relationships, including forecasting, trade revenue optimisation and budget adherence.
• Influence product placement, pricing, new product launches and category growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of agreed solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in consumer goods or food sector.
• Degree‑educated or equivalent professional background.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Experience working with direct or head‑office customers on promotions and pricing.
• Familiarity with category management principles and budget management.
