Customer Operations & Supply Chain Internship

About the role

Join Barilla’s Customer Operations & Supply Chain team as an intern focused on EDI and order management. You will support the Customer Service and Supply Chain functions to ensure smooth order cycles and high service levels in a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing customer order cycles, including order entry, electronic transmission (EDI) and delivery coordination.
• Monitor lead times from order acquisition to delivery and help meet service‑level targets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics and Demand Planning to resolve daily operational issues.
• Support promotion management by ensuring correct logistics data and warehouse coordination.
• Track service performance, identify delivery issues or stock shortages, and contribute to corrective actions.
• Analyze customer complaints, determine root causes and aid in resolution.
• Help with stock management in external warehouses and identify process‑optimization opportunities.
• Assist in handling exceptional situations such as order problems, product recalls or delivery disruptions.

Required profile

• Recently graduated or about to graduate in Economics, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) knowledge.
