Deployment Execution Engineer – Robotics & Automation

About the role

Amazon is looking for a business‑oriented Deployment Execution Engineer to lead the rollout of large‑scale automation and storage solutions across its European fulfillment network. You will work on new automated buildings and expansions, ensuring seamless integration of robotics, conveyance and sortation technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Own creation, validation and continuous improvement of deployment deliverables such as work instructions and training materials.
• Support evaluation, design and delivery of large‑scale automation technologies, including conveyance, sortation and robotic systems.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, internal stakeholders and external contractors to achieve project milestones.
• Assess and implement state‑of‑the‑art material handling and robotic innovations.
• Travel up to 50% across Europe during peak deployment seasons.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in automation deployments within warehouse or logistics environments.
• Strong technical problem‑solving ability across multiple sites and technologies.
• Holistic understanding of fulfillment centre operations and storage solutions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
