Deputy Project Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Deputy Project Manager to support the Project Manager on construction sites in Milan. You will help ensure smooth daily operations, coordinate information flow, and keep projects on schedule, within budget, and compliant with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day field activities, track design, progress, quality and safety issues.
• Prepare minutes for site meetings and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Follow up on design approvals and validation processes, ensuring timely responses.
• Conduct regular site walks to assess safety, progress and compliance.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality management procedures.
• Record non‑conforming work, drive corrective actions and ensure closure.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in development management and project management.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Experience in multinational environments, construction management in the industrial sector, permitting processes, or LEED/BREEAM coordination is a plus.
