Development Engineer Intern

About the role
Join ING's development team as a Development Engineer Intern and gain hands‑on experience in software development within a dynamic, global digital bank. You will work on real internal projects, learn Agile methodologies, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development team on real‑world software projects for the bank.
- Assist with daily reporting, task management, and documentation.
- Participate in on‑the‑job training covering Agile practices and development workflows.
Required profile
- Strong passion for software development.
- Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn and take on challenges.
- Interest in working in a fast‑paced digital banking environment.
Required skills
- Familiarity with Java.
- Knowledge of Spring Framework.
- Experience with Maven build tool.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript and HTML5.
