DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our technology accelerator team. You will work closely with architects and operations teams to design, implement and manage solutions that improve the efficiency, scalability and reliability of our systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and deployment automation.
• Collaborate on designing and optimizing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
• Manage and optimise resources on public cloud platforms (preferably GCP, alternatively AWS).
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions for services.

Required profile

• Proven experience writing and managing Terraform code.
• Solid knowledge of Ansible playbooks.
• Significant experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP or AWS), covering compute, networking and storage.
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
