DevOps Engineer & Linux Sysadmin

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong Linux systems administration experience to help migrate our geospatial applications to the cloud. The role will influence architecture, automate deployments, and drive continuous delivery for a fast‑growing business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines, and related tools.
• Build and maintain monitoring and analytics dashboards with the Elastic Stack.
• Coordinate with developers to improve delivery processes and deployment robustness.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and VMware, including Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Provide Q&A support, monitor production SLA levels, and refine support procedures.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration or operations.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative, dynamic team.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, focusing on root‑cause analysis and long‑term solutions.
• Motivated, creative, and eager to continuously improve skills and processes.

Required skills

• Linux system administration (advanced level).
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, VMware.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (or similar).
• Scripting/automation: Bash, Python.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines.
• Monitoring and analytics: Elastic Stack.
• Configuration management: Chef, Puppet, or Ansible (any).
