Director, Global Immuno Scientific Affairs

About the role

The Director, Global Immuno Scientific Affairs leads the scientific strategy for Diasorin’s Immuno division, providing authoritative expertise across pathology and disease areas. This role translates emerging scientific trends and clinical evidence into actionable business and innovation plans while fostering collaborations with academic institutions and key opinion leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the divisional innovation pipeline by identifying emerging scientific, clinical and technological opportunities.
• Shape evidence‑generation strategies and scientific development plans for new in‑vitro diagnostic (IVD) assays.
• Critically assess scientific literature, clinical data and market trends to inform product strategy.
• Support pre‑launch and post‑launch assay activities, ensuring robust scientific validation.
• Act as the central scientific authority, coordinating with the Group Chief Medical Officer, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Marketing and R&D.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and academic partners to advance collaborative research.
• Ensure consistent generation, interpretation and dissemination of scientific knowledge across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven scientific leadership in immunodiagnostics or related life‑science fields.
• Deep understanding of pathology, disease mechanisms and IVD technologies.
• Track record of designing and executing evidence‑generation programs.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with medical, regulatory, clinical, marketing and R&D teams.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex scientific concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
