Director of ABM (Corporate) – Continuous Improvement Leader

About the role

The Director, ABM (Corporate) will lead the implementation of the ATS Business Model across the organization, driving continuous improvement, lean initiatives, and goal deployment (Hoshin planning) to support growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and facilitate the ATS Business Model (ABM) throughout the company.
• Lead continuous‑improvement programs, lean tools, and growth‑specific actions.
• Design, develop, and execute an ABM roadmap for operating businesses.
• Assess key business metrics from a general‑manager perspective and translate findings into actionable plans.
• Collaborate with sales, order processing, distributor management, CRM, and ERP teams to align processes.
• Drive transactional process improvements and monitor measurable results.

Required profile

• Four‑year engineering degree (electronics, electrical, mechanical or controls preferred); MBA or master’s degree is a plus.
• 4‑8 years of operations, engineering, supervisory or management experience in a lean‑driven manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to assess business metrics and design continuous‑improvement roadmaps.
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels, including non‑English speakers.

Required skills

• Lean‑tool methodologies (e.g., Hoshin planning, value‑stream mapping).
• Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, graphics).
• Project and time‑management techniques.
