Director of Operational Excellence

About the role

Honeywell is seeking a visionary Director of Operational Excellence to lead the implementation of Honeywell Manufacturing Excellence (HMX) across multiple business units. You will partner with senior leaders to identify improvement opportunities, develop strategic roadmaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Strategize and oversee the rollout of HMX across the organization.
• Collaborate with individual sites to develop and execute strategic roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to HMX Senior Managers and their teams on Lean methodologies and tools.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HMX site assessments, recommending enhancements as needed.
• Prepare monthly performance updates for sites and senior management.
• Participate in site‑level operational improvements, focusing on productivity and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proven track record of managing managers and individual contributors.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and communicate clearly at all organizational levels.
