Director - Plant Controlling

About the role

The Director of Plant Controlling leads the financial and cost management function for Bosch's Florence manufacturing site. You will shape economic strategies, drive performance, and support the plant leadership team in achieving cost‑target and value‑added goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the plant controlling organization.
• Define and recommend economic strategies, objectives and policies to improve financial and manufacturing performance.
• Direct plant business planning, forecasting, month‑end and year‑end closing, and cost variance analysis.
• Develop and steer measures to improve plant cost performance and achieve short‑ and long‑term value‑added cost targets.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts and capital budgeting documentation.
• Support lean manufacturing and value‑stream management initiatives as the financial leader.
• Oversee inventory management, cycle‑count programs and accuracy improvement.
• Review plant cost calculations for acquisitions and continuously improve controlling, accounting and reporting processes, including digitalisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in plant finance, controlling or cost management, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Proven leadership experience at senior level, with the ability to influence executive teams.
