Dishwasher – Full Time

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Dishwasher to join our hotel team in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. The role is full‑time and involves maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, supporting food service operations and ensuring all dishware and equipment are properly sanitized.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, pot‑scrubbing stations and trash compactors.
• Wash, rinse and sanitize dishes, utensils, knives and kitchen tools using a three‑compartment sink.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables correctly and rotate stock.
• Inspect, pull, stack and re‑wash items that do not meet cleanliness standards.
• Break down and empty bus tubs, trash cans and dumpster areas; manage recycling and glass disposal.
• Clean and mop all assigned kitchen and store areas, including countertops and floors.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report maintenance needs and incidents.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and to bend, twist and stoop.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Commitment to teamwork, quality standards and company assets protection.

Required skills

• Operation of commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Use of cleaning, rinsing and sanitising chemicals.
• Knowledge of three‑compartment sink procedures.
• Basic food‑safety and sanitation practices.
