Door Attendant – Guest Services

About the role

Join Marriott International as a Door Attendant in the beautiful resort area of Porto Cervo. You will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their rooms, opening doors and offering assistance.
• Inform guests about hotel amenities, services, operating hours, and local attractions.
• Explain room features such as key usage, mini‑bar, in‑room safe, and laundry services.
• Transport luggage to and from guest rooms or the bell area, and manage luggage storage.
• Assist guests with vehicle entry and exit, including loading and unloading luggage.
• Provide directions, arrange transportation (taxi, shuttle, limousine) and record advance requests.
• Communicate parking procedures and maintain awareness of undesirable persons on the premises.
• Follow all company policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold a professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, or run for extended periods and navigate stairs or uneven surfaces.
• Clear, professional communication skills in English.
