Drilling Operator

About the role

Trevi SpA is seeking experienced Drilling Operators for small‑diameter drilling projects on construction sites across Italy. The role involves safely operating drilling machinery, performing pre‑operational checks, and ensuring that all work meets technical and quality specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assigned drilling machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre‑operational checks according to company procedures and project specifications.
• Follow all safety and QHSE protocols on site and report any violations.
• Prepare daily productivity reports and maintain equipment logs.
• Support the supervisor with departmental activities and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Understanding of onboard instrumentation and ability to cross‑check depth, rotation, and other parameters.
• Familiarity with method statements, project quality standards, and completion of quality‑control forms.
• Capability to assess drilling quality, drilling mud, and inspect extracted material.
• Skill in equipment placement, layout, direction, and stability.
• Able to select the most suitable drilling technique, tool, pressures, thrust, torque, and speed for each condition.
