EHS Manager (RSPP) – Safety & Environment Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced EHS Manager (RSPP) to join Eaton’s Mobility Group at the Bosconero Valves Plant near Turin. The role is responsible for ensuring a safe, healthy and environmentally‑controlled workplace, fully compliant with Italian and European regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and internal standards.
• Drive ISO14001 and MESH compliance, coordinating a management system that anticipates, identifies and resolves EHS risks.
• Lead risk‑assessment activities and maintain the DVR in line with regulations.
• Plan, deliver and track EHS training for all employees.
• Manage hazardous materials, PPE and waste‑management processes to meet legal and corporate requirements.
• Coordinate preventive and periodic inspections, taking decisive action when necessary.
• Monitor and audit EHS processes, conduct accident investigations and lead 8D problem‑solving activities.
• Track and report key EHS metrics for data‑driven decision making.
• Ensure emergency preparedness, developing instructions and delivering fire‑evacuation training.
• Represent the company with local authorities on all EHS matters and secure right‑to‑operate permits.
• Manage the EHS budget and contribute to the site’s EHS strategy.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety).
• Proven experience in EHS management within an industrial setting.
• In‑depth knowledge of Italian EHS legislation and the RSPP role.
• Ability to work closely with plant management, employees and external authorities.
