EH&S Specialist – Italy & Regional Support

About the role

We are seeking an EH&S Specialist to lead and support environment, health, and safety initiatives primarily across Italy, with additional responsibilities for Spain, Portugal, and the Middle East. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, preventing risks, overseeing contractors, and fostering a Zero Incident culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain compliance with all CCR and local EH&S regulations, especially in Italy.
• Promote a ZERO Incident culture by driving reporting of unsafe conditions, near‑misses, and stop‑work events.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce control measures for field and facility hazards.
• Ensure contractor adherence to EH&S standards.
• Lead mandatory EH&S reporting, including incident management, monthly reports, and performance scorecards.
• Execute and oversee annual EH&S plans, training programs, and performance targets.
• Support global and regional EH&S strategies.

Required profile

• Degree in Health, Safety, Environmental, Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Strong knowledge of Italian EH&S regulations; mandatory occupational health and safety qualification is required.
• Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Italy.
• Experience designing and maintaining EH&S management systems.
• Analytical, results‑driven, and able to prioritize effectively.
