EMEA Commercial Operations and Transformation Director

About the role

The EMEA Commercial Operations and Transformation Director is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping and executing the commercial operating model across the EMEA region. Reporting to the regional Vice President and General Manager, the role partners with senior leaders to translate strategic priorities into disciplined execution and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the regional commercial operating model, aligning strategic priorities, annual plans, resource deployment, governance, and performance outcomes.
• Own the commercial planning process, including annual operating plans, long‑range planning, and in‑year performance recalibration.
• Establish and continuously improve the regional governance framework and operating rhythm (business reviews, forecast cadences, leadership forums, transformation reviews, town halls, performance checkpoints).
• Provide senior‑level oversight of performance management, scorecards, KPI tracking, risk identification, executive reporting, and insight generation.
• Lead strategic transformation initiatives from problem definition through implementation governance, benefit tracking, and change adoption.
• Drive commercial process excellence in forecasting, pipeline management, territory/account planning, sales discipline, incentive deployment, and operating consistency.
• Champion Lean and continuous‑improvement practices, coaching leaders to identify gaps, solve complex problems, eliminate waste, and raise execution quality.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in commercial operations, planning, or transformation within a multinational environment.
• Strong track record of delivering large‑scale transformation programs and improving commercial performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and cross‑functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
