Europe Communications Lead

Join an innovative communications team at the forefront of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Based in Italy, you will shape and execute communications strategies across Europe, building strong relationships with media, industry stakeholders, and key opinion leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies for European markets to strengthen brand visibility and reputation.
• Lead proactive media relations, including press outreach, briefings, interviews, spokesperson preparation, and reputation management.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, conference organizers, researchers, and other influential stakeholders across Europe.
• Create localized communications plans that reflect cultural, political, and social nuances of each market.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, product, research, engineering, legal, policy, partnerships, safety) to align messaging priorities.
• Draft executive communications such as talking points, FAQs, press releases, partnership announcements, and investment updates.
• Manage regional speaking engagements, awards programs, executive appearances, and company‑hosted events.
• Monitor industry trends, identify storytelling opportunities, and translate technical innovations into clear, engaging narratives.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate communications, preferably in agencies or high‑growth technology firms.
• Proven track record of building trusted relationships with top‑tier media outlets across Europe.
• Strong understanding of both traditional and emerging media channels, including research publications, technical communities, podcasts, and digital influencers.
• Exceptional ability to translate highly technical or scientific concepts into compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience developing executive communications.
