Executive Assistant to Country Head – Investment Banking

About the role

We are seeking a highly professional Executive Assistant to support the Country Head of Italy within our Investment Bank in Milan. The role demands a degree‑educated candidate with at least five years of experience assisting C‑suite leaders in the international financial sector. You will operate in a fast‑paced, high‑profile environment, ensuring the Country Head’s office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Autonomous management of the Country Head’s office, including gatekeeping in person and by phone.
• Advanced diary management, prioritising competing demands and scheduling internal and external client meetings.
• Organising and moderating meetings, conference calls, and web conferences.
• Professional client handling and relationship building with bankers, committees, and external partners.
• Daily inbox management, flagging items that require the Head’s attention.
• Comprehensive travel planning, itinerary creation, and contingency planning.
• Occasional personal administrative support.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken Italian and English.
• Proven track record as a senior Executive Assistant in a demanding, international setting.
• Strong judgement, discretion, and ability to anticipate needs.
• Polished, calm demeanor with the capacity to thrive under pressure and shifting priorities.
• High work ethic, confidentiality, and collaborative attitude.
