Field Sales Engineer – Heat Exchangers (GPHE & WHE)

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to develop and support sales of its Gasket Plate Heat Exchanger (GPHE) and Welded Heat Exchanger (WHE) portfolio within the Energy Industries. The role focuses on technical sales, customer relationship management and driving market penetration in Italy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, promote and secure penetration of technological sales solutions for GPHE and WHE products.
• Identify technical solutions for various customer segments, including system builders, contractors, OEMs and end‑users.
• Visit customers and partners to promote optimized engineering solutions and drive sales activity.
• Support, coach and develop the sales partner network (distributors and agents) in the field.
• Travel up to 50 % of the time across Italy.

Required profile

• Ability to identify priorities, manage a network of customers and partners, and develop business opportunities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with a collaborative, cross‑functional mindset.
• Business development attitude and curiosity for technical solutions.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
