Field Supervisor

About the role

Alstom is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead installation activities for rail projects. The role involves preparing work, training installation teams, and ensuring that all tasks are executed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare installation work and confirm readiness using the 4M checklist.
• Train and support installation workers and subcontractors, clarifying doubts and priorities.
• Supervise on‑track and onboard installation, whether performed by Alstom staff, subcontractors, or third parties.
• Ensure compliance with D&IS Installation, FO Process, and applicable Work Method Statements.
• Report progress, issues, non‑conformities, and deviations to the relevant project managers.
• Maintain strict adherence to EHS requirements and special processes.
• Support handover activities to the testing & commissioning team or customer.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing best practices and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Experience in supervising installation activities in rail or related infrastructure projects.
• Ability to train and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including subcontractors.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Good communication skills for reporting and issue escalation.
