Finance Director – Global Systems Division

About the role

L3Harris is seeking a Finance Director to lead the finance function of its Global Systems Division in Bologna, Italy. The role reports to senior division leadership and is responsible for driving financial performance, governance, and strategic partnership across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a core member of the division’s executive leadership team, influencing overall business performance and strategic direction.
• Lead global finance teams across Program Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and Pricing, ensuring consistent governance, controls, and operational excellence.
• Report and drive performance metrics for orders, sales, operating income, and free cash flow in line with the business plan.
• Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline through succession planning, coaching, and leadership development.
• Promote an inclusive, collaborative culture and high employee engagement across worldwide teams.
• Partner with business leaders to align finance capabilities, structures, and resources with current and future growth requirements.
• Act as a role model for ethical leadership, integrity, and compliance, reinforcing transparency and accountability.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior finance leadership within a large, matrixed organization.
• Proven track record of financial planning, reporting, and driving business performance.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross‑functional teams globally.
