Finance & General Manager – Italian Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance and General Manager to lead the Italian entity of a well‑established international logistics and supply‑chain company. Reporting to the European leadership team, you will be accountable for overall business performance, financial results and operational excellence in Italy.

Key responsibilities

• Own full P&L responsibility for the Italian business and drive financial performance.
• Translate regional strategy into effective local execution.
• Lead finance, operations, customer service and support functions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash‑flow management and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure high operational efficiency, service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Foster cross‑department collaboration and a high‑performance culture.
• Act as the primary liaison between the local organization and regional management.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and lead change initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 8‑12 years of senior management, general management or finance leadership experience.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with proven budgeting, forecasting and performance‑management skills.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply‑chain or related sectors is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in an international, matrix‑driven environment.
