Finance Industrial Controller – Supply Chain & Operations

About the role

Burberry is seeking a Finance Industrial Controller to support the Outerwear division within Burberry Tecnica. The role will partner with Operations, Product and Supply Chain teams to provide financial insight that drives cost control, margin visibility and disciplined decision‑making across the industrial network.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver industrial controlling and performance analysis focused on cost, margin and operational drivers.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial results, including variance analysis versus budget and forecast, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Support month‑end closing activities to ensure accurate, consistent and timely reporting.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Product teams to inform sourcing and production decisions with financial insight.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and seasonal planning through robust costing and margin analysis.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives, including standardisation, automation and development of reporting and BI tools.

Required profile

• Experience in finance controlling, industrial finance or a related analytical role with exposure to cost and margin dynamics.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly.
• Collaborative mindset comfortable working with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Structured, detail‑oriented approach balanced with commercial awareness.
• Curiosity and openness to improving processes, tools and ways of working.
