Finance Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a privately held international organisation to find a Finance Manager who will own accounting integrity, financial reporting and statutory compliance across multiple countries. The role works closely with operational teams, shared service centres and global finance functions to deliver accurate and timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting activities for the legal entity, including general ledger, AP, AR, intercompany, cash management and treasury.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and provide variance analysis.
• Lead forecasting and budgeting processes, monitoring performance against targets.
• Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and local regulations.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and coordinate statutory and internal audits.
• Manage tax, VAT and transfer‑pricing filings in collaboration with tax advisors.
• Partner with business leaders and FP&A teams to record contracts, transactions and provide accounting guidance.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and develop an international finance team.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Italian statutory accounting and tax requirements.
• Proven experience in multi‑entity accounting, financial reporting and audit coordination.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with shared service centres and global finance teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
