Finance Manager

About the role

PGI SPA, the Italian jewelry manufacturing entity of the Cartier operation, is seeking a Finance Manager to join the board and oversee all financial activities, industrial controlling, accounting, and tax obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance team, including two middle managers, and develop a strong financial culture aligned with Cartier values.
• Ensure accurate IFRS and statutory accounting, monthly closings, tax filings, and legal declarations.
• Manage relationships with external and internal auditors and coordinate with Richemont Tax on transfer pricing policies.
• Supervise production cost analysis, variance monitoring, Capex tracking, and development cost reporting.
• Collaborate with the supply‑chain team to optimise inventory and provisions reporting.
• Produce consolidated financial statements, statutory Italian accounts, and tax returns in line with group requirements.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and expense planning for the entity, including hourly rates and Capex budgets.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, identify management gain opportunities, and implement action plans to address variances.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a finance team in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory accounting, and Italian tax regulations.
• Experience with transfer pricing, audit coordination, and financial consolidation.
• Ability to analyse production costs, variances, and inventory data.
• Track record of budgeting, forecasting, and Capex management.
